In The Midst of Chaos There Is A Wisdom Voice
We are in the midst of very chaotic times. Events of today remind me of the years of the 60s and 70s.
History is repeating itself. If you are old enough, you remember with me the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Robert Kennedy; the Kent State riots and subsequent killing of Kent State students; and the Vietnam War. Planes were hijacked. We were also under the constant threat of nuclear war…and felt always that it could happen. Today we have terrorist bombings and killing of innocents of all races and religions.
In the midst of chaos, I am reminded by my own music to choose to listen to the voice of Wisdom.
Wisdom (God) has formed all physical life on this planet, and that spiritual reality is always there no matter what I may perceive as five-sensory reality.
When I feel powerless to do anything about the violence and hatred that is being expressed in our time, I am reminded by my own music that the vibration of Wisdom and Love is being sent out into the world just by my own making of music that carries this vibration. That would of course be true for everyone who creates from the Creator of Love and Wisdom. Just the act of creation from this space effects change for the world into love.
It's been six weeks since I wrote…..life has been very busy with beautiful family events…high school graduations, retirement parties for Walt, and a lovely visit to family in Philadelphia. July is also always the time for six month inventory for Mayan Dream Productions, and for a rest into the peace of nature in the middle of summer heat. I love the fire of the sun of July with its direct light and warmth.
