Month of the Heart. Month of Celebration

February is here! In the collective consciousness, we honor the heart and love with Valentine's Day, and we celebrate the unknown and the unseen with joy and color and beauty through Mardi Gras's twelve days of parades in New Orleans. Both of these times carry the unseen world into our awareness in powerful ways.

Our focus here in the musical world of Mayan Dream Productions will be very much in the vibration of this month. We will be deepening in the heart....more inner work than outer work...and we will be joyful beings of celebration.

Always, my music is of service. Mayan Dream Productions does not exist to sell CDs. It exists to bring music of love, kindness, transformation into the world and to be of service to all of you. Mayan Dream Productions exists to allow me to continue to compose, perform and teach what my music brings forward. It is a structure of LIGHT!

In 2013 we are in the time of choice. Which world will we choose? The place of hopelessness and strife and fear and boundaries? Or the place of wisdom and openness and love? This is a constant choice in my life. Old habits that limit me always arise, and as I look at them with love, they can simply vanish if I choose. It is kind of comforting to know that these choices are a lifelong journey...not something that I have to master and become perfect at now. The journey will continue and the choice can be always a joyful dance.

Well.....this is not the usual time for me to be writing. I actually slept later this morning and am now looking outside into blowing snow with a windchill below zero. The sun is peaking out through the blowing snow and it has a crystal aura around it. Beautiful!! Yesterday it was 64 degrees and raining. Nature is spectacular, isn't it!

Hi everyone..... Two weeks ago I recorded the final 10 minutes of the Wisdom Ablaze album, received the digital CD for the artwork of the cover (Ann Beeching original) and the music master is ready to go to National Media. It is part of a three CD series on Wisdom. The Wisdom music began with the album " A Celebration of Life and Love " which was released in 2012.  The third track is called Wisdom, and this album explores the various aspects of living in the warmth of Wisdom Fire:  Dancing in Lightness of Spirit, Sacred Voice, Woven in Gentleness, and A Gentle Touch.  Track three, Wisdom, emerges from Track one: At The Cave, and Track two:  Sunrise. Music supports the world around me

Several weeks ago I received a phone call from a hospice nurse in Honolulu. She had a patient who was dying and listening to The Beloved was the only thing that could calm her down. She later called to say that this person had died peacefully while listening to The Beloved. That is why I do what I do. Creating and performing the music that comes to me is not done to sell music and make sales, but to bring into the world a quality of beauty and connection into the individual's inner world that is transformative. The ducks in this photo were hatched right outside of my mom's front window. The mother duck came out of the marshes to build her nest where mom could see it every day. Aren't they cute! It's amazing the beauty and the joy in nature. My mom is going through an important journey in her life right now, and family is very supportive of her in this time of transition. The Journey

This photo was taken in a nature preserve in Indiana and it is now covered in snow. We are under a winter storm warning...expecting another "many" inches of snow and it is beautiful. I loved this path because it reminds me of Copan, Honduras. I chose this photo for today's Musings because it calls forth the journey into the unknown which is my life and yours. The economic news yesterday was very bleak.. a couple of million people without work and without health insurance. Many millions more without enough work to actually buy enough food and to pay for the basics of life. The stock market falling....companies closing or downsizing. The political news was bleak....war.....terror....poverty across the world. And yet.....the unknown journey continues. We don't know really what this means.
