What is Happening Here?

It's a beautiful summer morning (even though technically the summer solstice is two weeks away). This is the Mother Earth that has inspired so much of my music. Retta and I will be kicking back today and spending most of the day outside....walking, trimming, weeding, planting.

As I sit in my office writing to all of you, I am surrounded by my music and my musical instruments. They are calling to me.....and I am hearing their voice loud and clear. Life is good!

Music supports the world around me

Several weeks ago I received a phone call from a hospice nurse in Honolulu. She had a patient who was dying and listening to The Beloved was the only thing that could calm her down. She later called to say that this person had died peacefully while listening to The Beloved. That is why I do what I do. Creating and performing the music that comes to me is not done to sell music and make sales, but to bring into the world a quality of beauty and connection into the individual's inner world that is transformative. The ducks in this photo were hatched right outside of my mom's front window. The mother duck came out of the marshes to build her nest where mom could see it every day. Aren't they cute! It's amazing the beauty and the joy in nature. My mom is going through an important journey in her life right now, and family is very supportive of her in this time of transition. In the Natural Timing of Things

Hi everyone..... Two weeks ago I recorded the final 10 minutes of the Wisdom Ablaze album, received the digital CD for the artwork of the cover (Ann Beeching original) and the music master is ready to go to National Media. It is part of a three CD series on Wisdom. The Wisdom music began with the album " A Celebration of Life and Love " which was released in 2012.  The third track is called Wisdom, and this album explores the various aspects of living in the warmth of Wisdom Fire:  Dancing in Lightness of Spirit, Sacred Voice, Woven in Gentleness, and A Gentle Touch.  Track three, Wisdom, emerges from Track one: At The Cave, and Track two:  Sunrise. A year later, I completed Wisdom Enters The World In Love . New Beginnings and a New Year

Mayan Dream Productions is celebrating a New Year and now 32 years in existence.  We began this journey in 1987 when I first began to compose the album Mayan Dream, followed by The Beloved. This was a very exciting time because until 1987 I had no idea that I was going to compose music.  I fell in love with the recording studio, my Kurzweil, and the music inspired by the Mayan sacred culture of ancient times, and of the music of healing and transformation. Now in 2019,  Wisdom Ablaze is two years old and it completes a cycle of 16 albums.  All of my music is music of light and of light alive in the world.  I have loved creating every note of this music! Where is the next cycle of 10 years leading me and Mayan Dream Productions?   I am  certainly continuing the love of recording and the action of fire in the world. As we celebrate the Winter Solstice and the new year 2019,   I wish all of you light and joy!
