Profound Love


This photo is of Maria, surrounded by the holiday poinsettia, holding an adult person who, in turn, is holding a round object in his/her hand. I like to think of this object as the planet Earth. The poinsettia and Maria are sitting on a jaguar weaving from Mexico.

Maria was carved by Nicolas...an artist and shaman in the Santiago Atitlan area of Guatemala.
This is an original...carved and blessed just for me.

Maria is the sacred feminine. She holds all of us (and especially me) in profound love. From this space of being held, we walk the planet earth....and we are in the world as bearers of love. On Monday I will go into the recording studio and "let loose" into the world a piece of music for the new year that will be called Profound Love. I will place this new music on my website for free download to all of you. Watch for it!

As I look out the window of my studio, I see the soft pink of sunrise with black tree branches stunning against this rosy backdrop. Mother Earth is SO beautiful. I was out under the full moon around 6:00 AM and at 17 degrees it was crisp and very cold. The crisp cold, and the darkness of the sky with the light of the full moon was a gift.

Time is moving at the speed of light! It's been nine days since the last Musing, and it feels like just yesterday. What is the latest news from this studio? Well.....the remastered Healing Music has come in from Discmakers complete with it's new cover which has a photo that I took.
When I picked up one of these CDs, there was a rush of chills throughout my body. WOW!

It was important to have the professional Discmakers' run of the Healing Music CD because Amazon, i-tunes (and all of the other digital outlets), CDBaby, New Leaf will only accept CDs with this professional packaging and the UPC code. So now another CD of my music will be out in the world in a different way, and the Healing Music was particularly important to have in this larger arena. This next week, I will have to ship the Healing Music CD to Amazon, to CDBaby, etc. and go through all of the paperwork necessary for each place.

Digital sales of all of my music continue to grow. That means that my music is touching the lives of people who do not buy CDs....wonderful!

The Wisdom Women group met this last Thursday for meditation and as always, it was an empowering evening. We meditated to the light of the Christmas tree and to the music of Ancient/Future symphony. Next Tuesday, December 16th, I will join another group that meets to meditate. These are very important ways for me to connect into the unknown through a gathering of wise people.

Other musical "stuff":
This last week the annual holiday gift from me to you.....a sale price on all of my music....was released through the holiday mailing and on my website.

Ann Beeching is finishing the artwork on a special small wood case that I had built for display of all of my music and it will be at the Fort Wayne office/studios of Conrad and Ilene during the December/January time.

I am building the energy for two Soul/Deepbody albums have been commissioned and will be created in January.

Thank you to all who have held in light the Daily OM featuring of Emergence because that project continues to grow. Yeah!!!

WOW news: I have expanded my musical life out into the world in a very significant way. In the middle of October, I began to get the information during meditation that it was time to bring my musical SELF into the world in yet another way. I sent out an e-mail inquiry, and within 3 days was employed as a musician for St. John the Baptist Church in Fort Wayne. At first, I did not know why this was happening in my life. However, creating music in the Catholic Church has been another life enhancing event for me. It's yet another way to create music.

The gifts of my life at this time as I move toward my 62nd birthday on December 21st....being with creative, loving people in so many different parts of the world and especially through family and friends....feeling and knowing the sacred essence of all different beliefs....feeling the profound love of my own creative Source through everything that I do.....creating and creating and creating music!

Life is a celebration of profound love!

Two weeks ago I recorded the final 10 minutes of the Wisdom Ablaze album, received the digital CD for the artwork of the cover (Ann Beeching original) and the music master is ready to go to National Media. It is part of a three CD series on Wisdom. Music supports the world around me

Several weeks ago I received a phone call from a hospice nurse in Honolulu. She had a patient who was dying and listening to The Beloved was the only thing that could calm her down. She later called to say that this person had died peacefully while listening to The Beloved. That is why I do what I do. Creating and performing the music that comes to me is not done to sell music and make sales, but to bring into the world a quality of beauty and connection into the individual's inner world that is transformative. The ducks in this photo were hatched right outside of my mom's front window. The mother duck came out of the marshes to build her nest where mom could see it every day. Aren't they cute! It's amazing the beauty and the joy in nature. My mom is going through an important journey in her life right now, and family is very supportive of her in this time of transition. The Journey

This photo was taken in a nature preserve in Indiana and it is now covered in snow. We are under a winter storm warning...expecting another "many" inches of snow and it is beautiful. I loved this path because it reminds me of Copan, Honduras. I chose this photo for today's Musings because it calls forth the journey into the unknown which is my life and yours. The economic news yesterday was very bleak.. a couple of million people without work and without health insurance. Many millions more without enough work to actually buy enough food and to pay for the basics of life. The stock market falling....companies closing or downsizing. The political news was bleak....war.....terror....poverty across the world. And yet.....the unknown journey continues. We don't know really what this means.
